This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application provided by Songshu VPN (referred to as the 'App', 'this Service' or 'we') processes personal information. We operate under principles of necessity, transparency and security, and protect user privacy within this policy.

When you download, launch or use the App, the system may collect data needed to operate the service, including Internet Protocol (IP) address, device operating system version, in-app access paths, connection status and duration of use. To recommend suitable nodes, we may process approximate device location. This data is used for: 1. Node recommendation based on Songshu VPN's network distribution; 2. Performance optimization through anonymized aggregate trends; 3. Service communication, including security notices, service updates or account reminders sent through your reserved email or username.

We only transmit aggregated anonymized data to necessary third-party partners such as Google Play Services and Firebase for crash analysis, performance monitoring and feature improvement. Except in the following cases, we do not share personal information with third parties: 1. Compliance with legal process or mandatory regulatory requirements; 2. Protection of user safety or fraud investigation; 3. Cooperation with entrusted providers bound by strict confidentiality obligations. To stop new data collection, remove the App through the standard uninstall process on your device.

User-provided data will be retained during the service period and for a reasonable grace period afterward. If you need to cancel your account early and delete your personal profile, please contact our privacy team at [email protected]. The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from this group, and if such data is discovered, we will start deletion procedures as soon as practical. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time due to regulatory requirements or business adjustments. Please review this page regularly; continued use after changes are published will be deemed acceptance of the revised policy. This policy takes effect on October 4, 2025.
